A few words from the artist on the work:
"This collage of peace mandala is based on a work of art that I created for my "Swan Song" exhibition at the Galerie Itinerrance in Paris. Peace has been an important theme in my work for many years and I am always looking for new ways to approach it visually. These mandalas have the fragility of lace on a chaotic collage background. This contrast aims to underline the delicate and precarious nature of peace, the maintenance of which requires special attention. We all need reminders to be vigilant in the pursuit of peace, so here is one of my contributions." Shepard Fairey
