Bio

Spanish artist Aryz was born in 1988 in Palo Alto, USA. Octavi Serra Arrizabalaga, his real name, was only three years old when his parents moved to Barcelona and then to Cardedeu, Catalonia, where he still lives today.

It was here that the artist discovered a stimulating art scene and graffiti, which he experimented with at an early age. Now a painter and illustrator, Mr. Aryz defines himself more as a “painter who uses the street as a medium” than as a street artist per se.

A specialist in monumental art, Aryz takes over the world with his large, pastel-colored artistic figures, whose attitudes are sometimes poetic, sometimes introspective. In any case, they leave no one indifferent. The painter is known for subtly blending different painting techniques and styles: his art brings together vibrant colors and imaginary atmospheres evoking those of science fiction and playing between surrealism and Pop Art.

We are pleased to present a shortlist of Aryz's works.
