Description

Pinocchio is a limited edition in time, signed and numbered. It is from an edition of 1145.

"When Guillermo del Toro asked me to design the poster for this film, I was honored and excited to create something that would encapsulate the depth of feeling and labor of love that went into its production. He told me that the film was inspired by his own relationship with his father. His Pinocchio is about what it means to be a good or bad father, and to live in a world where fathers can learn to love you for who you are. At the heart of the film is the fusion, the dance of creation, between Geppetto and Pinocchio. I wanted to show Pinocchio entering the world, literally jumping out of the frame of the image, and Geppetto struggling to let him go. The characters are under the protection of the Blue Fairy who towers over them, wings spread." James Jean
