Céline Liebi was born in 1998 in Bern, Switzerland. She obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts at the St. Joost Academy in Breda, the Netherlands in 2021. Today she lives and works in the Netherlands.

This young Swiss artist paints what fascinates her, especially organic forms like flowers and plants. "When I see them in real life, I want to transform them into something else and let them exist in an almost alienating world. A space between reality and fantasy. My interest is in illusion, abstraction and optical effects."

Her work is also influenced by the digital space that she tries to transcribe through a more traditional medium: painting. "In my paintings, I use bright colors derived from digitally created images. I work on a large scale to immerse the viewer in the painting."

We are pleased and proud to be able to present a selection of her latest paintings.
