Description

Here is the English translation:

This is an enlarged reproduction of "Punk Mona", a bold and contemporary reinterpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa, created by the French artist Jisbar. This artwork is part of a limited series of 50 pieces, each enhanced by hand by the artist, making every piece unique.

The original, in a smaller format, made history in both art and space exploration in December 2019, when it was sent into the stratosphere. Carried by a helium-filled balloon, the artwork reached an altitude of 33.4 kilometers, commemorating the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death. This symbolic event blended technological innovation with a tribute to one of the greatest Renaissance masters.

The version presented here measures 1.60 meters in height by 1.20 meters in width, creating a striking and immersive visual presence. Its neo-pop style, characteristic of Jisbar, merges urban aesthetics with classical references, reinterpreting "La Joconde" through a vibrant and contemporary lens.

Each piece in this series is framed in a black wooden frame, a refined choice that enhances the composition and amplifies the artwork’s visual impact. Lastly, each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its exclusive nature and place within this prestigious edition.

An artwork that fuses classical art with modernity, bridging homage and reinvention—ideal for collectors and contemporary art enthusiasts seeking a statement piece with historical significance.

The work offered for sale bears the number 8/50.
