Bio

Rémy Hétreau is a complete artist who, through drawing, painting, engraving and theater sets, has created a world filled with poetry and humor, tinged with fantasy and surrealism.

His friend René Barjavel wrote: "Hétreau is the Jérome Bosch of enchantment". In Hétreau's world, "trees grow in houses, castles sail, the winds of love fill the sails, a boy as naive as Pierrot and as clever as Harlequin juggles with a balloon, and girls of gentle beauty wrap their hair around the mast or the poplar...".
